A day-long workshop investigating human dignity in collaboration with members of the EU funded 'The History of Human Freedom and Dignity in Western Civilisation' project.
The Cambridge Centre for the Study of Platonism hosted the workshop 'Early Christian Origins of the Human Rights Tradition? Exploring Patristic Concepts of Individuality and Freedom' on Tuesday, 5 March. This workshop further developed themes that Prof. Anders-Christian Jacobsen discussed in his Beierwaltes lecture on 4 March, and featured presentations by Prof. George van Kooten, Prof. Rudolf Hein, and another presentation by Prof. Anders-Christian Jacobsen.
