It is with great regret that the Cambridge Centre for the Study of Platonism notes the untimely death of Professor Jens Halfwassen of Heidelberg university. Professor Halfwassen was a scholar of immense erudition, wide systematic range and formidable insight. He was distinguished bearer of the living metaphysical traditions of Late Antique Platonism and German Idealism.
