The CCSP is deeply saddened by news of the death of Dr Barrie Fleet. Barrie was an associate of the Cambridge Centre for the Study of Platonism. A leading scholar of Plotinus, and a devoted trailblazer of Neoplatonic studies in the English speaking world, Barrie was renowned for his Plotinus Enneads III.6, edition with translation and commentary (OUP 1995), and translations and commentaries of Plotinus Ennead IV.7 (2016) & 8 (2012) for Parmenides publishing. A regular and important member of the regular online Plotinus seminar, Barrie will be sorely missed by members of the Cambridge Centre for the Study of Platonism.
