Dr Stephen Blackwood gave the talk, entitled 'Why we need the Ancient Greeks today' to the Cambridge Centre for the Study of Platonism on 12 November 2019. The talk moved from reflections on some of the problems of modernity to a consideration of the ways in which ancient thought might help us to overcome these difficulties.
